In 1974 our second German Shepherd arrived she has been bred by Miss Moncreiff of Moncreiff was called ''
Carmen of Dunmonaigh '' she had previously lived with Bob and Sue Hadley of the Bygoly kennels, and we had
the pleasure of her until we said our goodbye's after 12 years.
We decided to try our hand in the show world and over the years we bought several puppies in the hope that we
would be successful. Unfortunately it wasn't to be and we gave up.
Our luck was about to change, we were looking to move house and came across a bungalow, however when we
viewed the property we decided it wasn't really for us.
However while we there we came across a beautiful young female German shepherd called ''Jodie'' she
belonged to the owner of the bungalow. It was clear to us that he didn't really have a love for dogs and we asked
to buy her there and then, sadly he turned us down, but we left details of where to contact us if he ever decided
to part with her. We worried about her for days and wondered what we could do to persuade him that we would
give her a lovely home.
A short while afterwards, we had a visit from her owner and he asked if we would still like Jodie, we didn't think
twice and immediately went to collect her. We would have paid his asking price whatever it may have been, we
were so desperate to have her, but he asked for only £40.
We spoke to her previous owner about where she had come from and after some research we found that she
had been bred by Sue and Bob Hadley of the Bygoly kennels who we already knew from the past. We contacted
Sue and explained that we had Jodie with us, Sue explained that as a puppy Jodie had been sold to another
breeder as a show dog but had been sold on because she would not make the grade.
Sue and Bob gave us Jodie's Kennel club registration, her name was ''Bygoly Kizzy'' and we were over the moon
with her.
We decided to have a litter with Jodie and mated her to Lido V Hambachtal. To our great delight Jodie produced
a beautiful litter of puppies and she was a wonderful
Mother. Within this litter came our first show
Champion.
We were so proud of Jodie. A little later Derek's Sister
was broken into and was afraid to be in the house by
herself and asked if she could take Jodie home with
her, of course we knew Jodie would be well cared for
and she already loved Derek's Sister . We agreed,
Jodie was then spayed and lived the life of luxury until
she was 13 years of age.
Our little Jodie was a God send, in her one and only
litter she produced us our first show champion.

We were so greatly rewarded for our genuine love of the German Shepherd.
We have imported a lovely Swedish bred male '' Schezzheims Escapology
''he is known to us as Scapo.
Scapo has to be the most intelligent
dog we have ever known.
There has also been Lennox,Pasadena, Fanta and Darinja which we have
also imported, all of which have been a great asset to our kennel.
We hope this has given you an insight to ourselves as
breeders, exhibitors and carers of the wonderful German
Shepherd dog.
CHAMPION LISSIE OF SIEABA
We have also imported a beautiful Zamp Thermodos Daughter Queenie
who has produced some excellent progeny as her breeding suggests.
MEET THE BREEDERS
Our life with the German Shepherd dog began many many years ago with a lovely nine month old rescue male
called Blitz , he was our family pet, lived in our home and grew up along side our children showing the true
nature of a shepherd , loyal and extremely trustworthy, a protector of his family, we sadly lost Blitz at 13 years of
age and will always remember him fondly.
We both shared a mutual love of the German shepherd and as the years go by our passion for the breed
continues.
We both have very big hearts where animals are concerned and our genuine love for the Gsd proved to be
extremely rewarding for us in the show world, we will explain later.
DEREK AND PAULINE BIGNELL
Over the years we have introduced
excellent bloodlines into the UK to aid
in the quality of our puppies and enhance
our kennel overall.
We strive to do the best mating we
can achieve, health and temperament being
our main priorities.
Our puppies are always
well socialised and confident in nature.
They happily settle into pet homes with
children or other pets.
